Om Swastiastu,

Indeed, time flies fast when working with Swimdo. I can’t believe it is November already. We are so busy as we are currently running classes from Monday – Friday with class sizes of 40-50 students. We are happy and excited with all the new faces in the pool that are eager to learn water safety, safe save techniques, and survival swimming!

Our flagship class in Keramas park is more popular than ever, now serving three elementary schools and three learning centers, two of them from the Muslim community in Gianyar. Our class in Ubud runs on Mondays and Wednesdays which has enabled us to open a new class on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Our new class is at the Kemenuh public pool in the Blahbatuh district. We have opened this program in an effort to serve the children in the area and plan to partner with ten schools and two learning centers. Our class in the north of Bali is also back to running at full capacity five times a week. Currently, we are working with students from two elementary schools in the area.

Our team in Singaraja has increased lessons each week in an effort to accommodate the Muslim students we teach who will soon begin their fasting. Swimdo is also very happy to announce that we have reopened our volunteer program! We will be accepting volunteer applications through our volunteer partner Swim Tayka HERE

We are open to accepting international volunteers from across the globe to help us with our mission to protect and enrich the lives of children through aquatic education. We have already accepted several volunteers for next year so if you or anyone you know would like to volunteer with us please feel free to apply or share this link with them.

From all of us at Swimdo, thank you for your continued support, it means a lot to our students and our instructors who work day in and day out to make Indonesia a safer place for the children that live here. Stay safe everyone!
